Present Continuous Tense and Form
The Present Continuous tense refers to an action that is happening at the time the speaker says the sentence.
It is formed by the Auxiliary Verb To Be conjugated in Present Simple (is / are) plus the main verb ending in –ING which translates as a Present Participle or Gerundio into Spanish.
Examples:
The dogs are barking ---------She is not working now.
I am eating a beefsteak-------Are you helping her?
They are painting the ceiling----Is he at the office?
We are not studying enough----You are watching TV
