Present Simple of Primary Verb "To Be"

The VERB TO BE(ser o tener) is a Primary verb in English along with Have and Do because they can function either as primary verbs like the rest of verbs (e.g. eat, sleep, write, etc.) or auxiliary verbs accompanying a main verb and acting as assistant in the tense as other auxiliary verbs (shall, will, etc.). They are conjugated as main or auxiliary verbs according with the number (singular or plural) and time (past, present and future with some modal verbs such as "will, may, would") and we must always place the subject before them in the affirmative and negative sentences except in the interrogative sentences where they are placed at the beginning.The verb To Be is used to form the Continuous or Progressive forms and the Passive voice in English (as well as their counterparts in French, Spanish, Italian, etc. and other European languages)Usually there are some doubts in the translation of the conjugated verb "To Be" because English does not differentiate between "ser o estar" as Spanish does.Example: Look at the bird at the cage! It is sad.Ejemplo: Mira el pájaro en la jaula. Está triste/ Es triste(lamentable).

Present Perfect Continuous

  The Present Perfect Continuous or Progressive is formed with the elements of the Perfect tenses (verb have) and Continuous tenses (verb be and Gerund in the main verb) and it describes a recent action which started in the past but it didn´t finish which is the difference with the Present Perfect Simple. The pattern uses then the elements necessary in the Present Perfect and Continuous   tenses: has (3 rd person singular he/ she / it) / have (rest) + been + V-ing (Gerund)   As in the Present Perfect Simple we also use prepositions “for” and “since” to point out to a quantity of time (minutes, days, weeks, months, years, centuries, etc.) or any date of time or specific event in the past till the present respectively.   The negative form just add particle “not” after the auxiliary verb “has/have” and the interrogative form inverts the order (has/have + subject + been+ V-ing) in which is obligatory to respond in a short answer (Yes/No, subject + has/have or negative form as
